All About Imagine Bella

Imagine Bella was a busy place this fall. The school held a fall festival where students wore their costumes, played games, entered the carved pumpkin raffle, ate pizza, and dared to enter the Haunted House! Students prepared for student led conferences which you can read more about in another article in this issue. On the 31st, the annual Imagine Bella Costume parade was held in the afternoon. Thank you to all the families that made this event possible by donating candy or volunteering during the parade. Students, staff, parents, and other volunteers wore their costumes and helped pass out candy in one of our most popular school traditions. We can't wait until next October!
The staff and students of Imagine Bella participated in their annual non-perishable food drive. Classroom created graphs for their door to track progress in collecting items and there was a large graph on display in the main hallway for families to see as they entered the building. The school exceeded the cans collected last year. Also, they passed the goal of 300 non-perishable items with collecting over 500 items! The graph in the main entrance needed a whole new page added on to chart all the items collected. Way to go Imagine Bella Dragons!
Imagine Bella students prepared for student led conferences about their first quarter report cards. Students had the opportunity to share a portfolio of work samples that demonstrated their strengths and areas for improvement. Students reflected on each piece and explained why it was selected. Additionally, students shared with their parents their academic and behavior goals for next quarter.
Friday clubs have started at Imagine Bella and there is a new team of student journalists getting ready for the next issue of the Observer. Student journalists write articles and deliver the newspapers to classrooms in the school. There are some student articles in this issue too!
Students are earning tickets in their classrooms for the pumpkin raffle. The pumpkins are decorated by teachers and we can't wait to see who the winners will be!
