House Meetings

Imagine Bella students and teachers are members of houses based on the house system from Ron Clark Academy. Students and teachers meet with their house throughout the year to build community and encourage each other to be 4 Star Students. Zoo Field Trip Memories

At the zoo field trip the 3rd graders had so much fun! They had lunch before they did anything. They got split into groups so the boys were with Mr. Gamble and the girls were with Ms. Port. They saw elephants, monkeys, and tigers. They saw fish and sharks. Some people got to go to the gift shop. They got to ride the train up hills and go to the rain forest. They complained and said "Our feet are sore!" The last animal they saw was a leopard. They just had so much fun!

Always Room to Grow at Imagine Bella

Imagine Bella gardening is beginning again with the start of spring. Right now these young plants are soaking up the rays from a classroom window while staying safe inside from any early spring chills. Hits from 2016 and Beyond

Students have been preparing during their dance specials with Mr. Ford each week and some students have used their enrichment (recess) time for extra rehearsals. Character Essay Contest

Imagine Bella students in grades 3-6 participated in Imagine Schools National Character Essay Contest. Students wrote essays based on a character maxim and work with other students to complete peer revisions. School level winners were selected by parent judges using a rubric and contest guidelines provided by Imagine Schools National Academic and Character Team. Our top winners from each grade level are being submitted to complete against school level winners from other Imagine Schools accross the country. Black History Month

A big shout-out to Ms. Parker!! She volunteered her time and came in to share a poem written by actress, singer, dancer, author, and civil rights activist Maya Angelou for Black/African American History Month. Ms. Parker read to the students, "Caged Bird". She also hosted a kid-friendly video prior to reading the poem to give our students a quick background of who Maya Angelou was. She did this during lunch time for all four lunches and even assisted in cleanup for each lunch too! Teacher of the Year

Imagine Bella has selected their Teacher of the Year for the 2016-2017 school year. Brittney Grimes started working at Imagine Bella in August 2015 as the Physical Education Teacher and has played a dynamic role in the school's related arts programs. Ms. Grimes infuses lessons with sportsmanship and leads the schoolwide character education initiatives. Throughout the day, Ms. Grimes also supports classrooms during daily success periods which provide in school tutoring to students in reading and math. Congratulations Brittney Grimes--Imagine Bella Teacher of the Year!

Before winter break, students earned raffle tickets for good behavior choices. Each mystery gift was created by the teachers at Imagine Bella and included clues about what was inside on the outside of the box or bag.
