In 1919, the Nineteenth Amendment to the U. S. Constitution granting women the right to vote was adopted by Congress and sent to the states for ratification. We celebrate this historic event with a dramatic recreation of the life of Susan B. Anthony brought to us by Women in History. Join us for lunch and meet abolitionist, reformer and activist Anthony who was a leader in the movement for women’s suffrage. Tickets are available in the library beginning Monday, February 25 for $12/members and $15/nonmembers. Call (216) 261-5300 for more details.
