City of Euclid invites you to participate in the ‘Shore RFP’ process
The City of Euclid is seeking to increase the vibrancy and sustainability of Shore through the issuance of a request for proposals (RFP).
In early 2019, a committee of City administration representatives, City Council members, and residents met for approximately six month to find ways to increase profitability and use of the building. The community concluded that the City should solicit proposals for development options for the building.
To assist with the RFP process, the City has retained a nationally recognized Cleveland-based consultant, Silverlode Consulting/GBX Group, which has extensive experience working with historic buildings and redevelopment projects. In partnership with Silverlode Consulting/GBX Group, the City of Euclid is preparing to seek development proposals for the Shore School Building. Shore Cultural Centre will remain open and operational during this process.
We all believe Shore Cultural Centre can be an anchor to downtown Euclid and a regional asset. We look forward to engaging the public throughout this RFP process.
The first community meeting was held on the evening of Thursday, September 19th at Shore Cultural Centre. The RFP was an agenda item on the Euclid City Council Executive and Finance Committee’s October 23rd meeting as well.
