Thank YOU for Making Euclid’s Summer Event Series Awesome!

Thanks to everyone who made the Euclid Summer Event Series a success just by showing up to Movie Nights, the Art Walk and the Euclid Waterfront project construction tours!

From the first Euclid Waterfront behind-the-scenes construction tour in early June to the last Outdoor Movie Night at Bluestone Elementary School just a few weekends ago, summer in Euclid was full of City-sponsored activities for all ages and interests.

We continued the popular, family-friendly Outdoor Movie Nights with our partners at Euclid Schools, including showing the latest Spiderman flick on the huge LED screen scoreboard at the new Euclid High School football stadium. The Greater Euclid Kiwanis Chapter and Aladdin Rents provided delicious snacks to attendees at all three Movie Nights and Euclid’s first Rib Cook-Off (organized by resident Darren Carter) was a highlight at the last event in September.

Public tours of the Euclid Waterfront Improvements project (currently under construction just east of Sims Park) were popular, attracting larger crowds with each tour date. While not everyone enjoyed wearing a construction vest, hard hat and closed toed shoes in the heat of summer, the behind-the-scenes narrated walking tours were a unique way for residents to participate in a project that was born out of a decade-long community planning process.

While the weather did not cooperate on Friday, September 13th, the 4th Annual Euclid Art Walk was a success when it moved inside of Shore Cultural Centre. Over 75 vendors, musicians and artists put on a spectacular show (and sales!) for hundreds of attendees in the heart of Downtown Euclid.

Special thanks to our Summer Events Series sponsors for making these events possible. They include: Aladdin Rents, Beach Club Bistro, Calfee Halter Griswold LLP, Corrigan-Deighton Funeral Home, Cuyahoga County Council, Dr. Paul Infield, Euclid Schools, Fedeli Group, GPD Group, James G Zupka CPA, K&D Management, Mazanec, Raskin Ryder Co, Our Lady Of The Lake, Power Alarm, Inc, Shore Cultural Centre and Ss Robert & William School.

And an extra special thanks to Euclid residents for showing up to these events, participating in polls about which movies to watch under the stars and especially those who helped plan the Art Walk!
