City Receives Ohio Auditor Award with Distinction

Congratulations to the City of Euclid Finance Department for receiving the Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction.  This award is presented for excellence in financial reporting related to the City's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and compliance with applicable laws for fiscal year 2018. Ohio Auditor Keith Faber's Regional Liaison, Jake Altman, attended the August 19th City Council meeting to present the award to Finance Director James Smith and Mayor Kirsten Gail.  Mr. Altman congratulated the City on this elite distinction -  noting that they audit more than 6000 entities and only 5% are even eligible to receive this award.  He congratulated Director Smith on his leadership, professionalism and commitment to auditing excellence!
