2019 Yard of the Year Winners
Keep Euclid Beautiful is pleased to announce the 2019 Yard of the Year Winners.
Keep Euclid Beautiful accepted nominations this summer for outstanding yards in the City of Euclid during June and July of 2019. Over 180 yards were nominated! Nominated properties recieved a letter the first week of August notifying them of their nomination. The Keep Euclid Beautiful Team then took on the task of sorting the yards by ward and then scoring them individually. Each yard was scored on things such as health of the lawn, cleanliness, flowers, shrubs, general home maintenance and curb appeal. All properties were viewed from the street. Extra points were given for things such as garden art, rain barrels, and hanging baskets.
A beautiful yard inspires neighbors to improve their own yards and the city benefits as a whole with beautiful neighborhoods. The Keep Euclid Beautiful team was very inspired by the hundreds of beautiful yards we saw.
