Public Waterfront Project Tours, Temporary Pier Closure

SmithGroup’s Jason Stangland, Principal of the firm’s waterfront practice, led a tour of waterfront stakeholders in April 2019. Public tours are on offer beginning this June.

The transformation of Euclid’s lakefront is well underway and the City of Euclid is offering multiple opportunities this summer for residents to learn about the exciting project and take a hard-hat tour of the construction site.

Anticipated to reach completion in Fall 2019, the current phase of construction of the Euclid Waterfront Improvements Plan will evolve throughout the summer, providing new and interesting discussion topics for each planned tour date.

Due to construction of the waterfront improvements, the Fishing Pier will be closed to the public from April 15th through June 15th, 2019.

The City of Euclid’s Facebook page regularly features photographs and other updates and all current construction projects in the City have information pages hosted on the main page of the City of Euclid’s website (click on “Construction Project Updates”). For your own safety, do not trespass onto the construction site and private property at the top of the bluff, clearly marked by signs and fencing installed by the contractor.
