Getting to know Dr. Martina Moore of Moore Counseling & Mediation Services, Inc
Dr. Martina Moore is the President and CEO of Moore Counseling & Mediation Services, Inc. located in Euclid, Ohio.
Also known as MCMS, the community based organization offers a wide range of services to clients that suffer from alcohol and drug addiction and behavioral health disorders. MCMS offers education, intervention, advocacy and support by helping clients get on the right path in life by meeting on a regular basis with counselors and specialist to discuss a wide variety of issues that MCMS clients are struggling with.
Dr. Moore holds a Ph.D. in counseling education and supervision with a specialization in consulting which she obtained from Walden University. She has a Master’s degree in community counseling and human services from John Carroll University and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Notre Dame College.
Dr. Moore wears a lot of hats, she is visiting faculty at John Carroll University and an instructor at The Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. She is a Civil Service Commissioner for the city of Euclid and is President-Elect of the north east Ohio counseling association.
Not only does Dr. Moore help those in the local community, she is on the board of directors for Serving and Learning Together (SALT), a non-profit organization that has a focus on philanthropic activities to provide services to underdeveloped countries.
Some of the services provided through SALT includes: building dispensaries, schools and libraries in those underdeveloped countries.
