Faith & Fitness Exercise and Wellness Foundation here for those in need

Visionary Yvette Giles, a fitness and wellness expert, founded Faith & Fitness Exercise and Wellness Foundation (FFEWF) in 2006. The sole purpose of FFEWF is to provide education, awareness and exercise classes to those that have been afflicted by auto-immune diseases such as multiple sclerosis or lupus. The integration of traditional and non-traditional practices will empower the population of men, women and children who are otherwise unable to afford top-of-the-line treatment of non-medical care. Additionally, they will be able to participate in their own well-being on another level for healthy living.

The beauty of FFEWF in the fight against auto-immune diseases is that it provides outstanding programs that help build strength and endurance in the promotion of healthy lifestyle choices for those afflicted by those diseases. There are plans to move from the current location the Emeritus House in Indian Hills to a center with state-of-the-art equipment encompassing physical, occupational and massage therapy by April 2013.

FFEWF’s financial support is provided by those whose mission focuses on non-traditional practices and research aimed at finding a cure for the thousands of people who are under-insured or in need of grant support, apart from traditional medical care.
