EHS fall play rehearsal "in action"

Plan to be amazed as the cast of EHS’ Fall Play, “The Madwoman of Chaillot” takes the Little Theater stage December 10-13th.  Euclid High’s finest thespians from grades 9-12 will offer their interpretation of this 1945 poetic satire concerning an eccentric woman (“The Madwoman”- Countess Aurelia) who lives in Paris and the story of her struggles against the straitlaced authority figures in her life. The production is under the direction of Ms. Jailyn Harris, a 2008 graduate of EHS and BSGU theater major, Class of 2014. These talented, young adults have poured their hearts and souls into this theatrical gem, giving upwards of 12-15 hours per week into rehearsal time; and that’s on top of their other extra-curricular activities and academic responsibilities.  In light of recent tragic events that have unfurled in Paris, France, the “scene” at which this play takes place, the cast has collectively decided to donate a portion of their admission sales to Doctors Without Borders, an organization that helps to provide medical care to areas affected by war and natural disasters. Show tickets will be sold at the door: $10 Adults, $8 Seniors/Students ($1 discount per ticket when accompanied by a canned-food item which will be donated to our local food bank)

I am a lifelong Euclid resident, born and raised, and now, along with my husband John, we are raising our children in Euclid. We love to support the schools and especially the arts. Hoping to be given the opportunity to spread the word about all of the GOOD things in Euclid. Especially in the area of Fine Arts.
