Keep Euclid Beautiful's ‘Yard of the Year’ Contest is Back!

Submit your or your neighbor's yard now through August 5th to the 2nd annual ‘Yard of the Year’ 2020 contest sponsored by Keep Euclid Beautiful.

Do you think you have the nicest yard in Euclid? Whether you’ve created a native pollinator habitat or mow the straightest lines across a lush green lawn, we want to recognize you!

The 2nd annual ‘Yard of the Year’ 2020 contest sponsored by Keep Euclid Beautiful through the City of Euclid is now open and taking entries through Wednesday, August 5th at 11:59pm. Part of Keep Euclid Beautiful’s mission is to encourage residents to “do beautiful things”, which includes being a good steward of the environment through trash removal, plantings and more.

Anyone can nominate a residential property in Euclid so long as you know the address (you do not need to be the property owner or occupant to enter!). Keep Euclid Beautiful will visit the properties and contact all winners prior to publicly making an announcement.

Yard of the Year winners will be recognized at an upcoming City Council meeting where they will be presented with a yard sign recognizing this accomplishment.

Properties need only be nominated once to be entered in the contest.  Yards are scored on appearance and not on number of nominations, yard and/or house size.

More Information, including the online nomination form, can be found at the City of Euclid's website at www.cityofeuclid.com or by calling Linda Beck at 216-289-2786.
