Madam C.J. Walker, born Sarah Breedlove in 1867, created specialized hair products for African-American hair and was one of the first American women to become a self-made millionaire. Join us this evening for an all-ages performance of Madam C.J. Walker, portrayed by living history performer Vernice Jackson from Women in History. Local HERstory: Wicked Women of Ohio author Jane Turzillo

The Buckeye State produced its share of wicked women. Join Award-winning crime writer Jane Ann Turzillo as she recounts the stories of Ohio's most notorious vixens, viragoes, and villainesses.

Please register for one session only. The same Escape Room will be offered three times.

There is a hungry zombie chained to the wall. Every five minutes, the chain grows a foot from the wall! Work as a team with other patrons and use the clues to open the locks within 45 minutes or get eaten! Will you survive this adventure?

Registration begins Thursday, October 31, 2019. Each session is limited to 15 people, including children

Mad Hatter's Tea Party

Are you mad about tea parties?  Then you are cordially invited to the craziest tea party in town held right here at the library!  We will do a craft and enjoy delicious tea and snacks.  Feel free to wear your craziest hat!  This is a family event.  Registration is not required.
