Music of Motown

Wednesday, October 23

7:00 PM / Lake Room

In the middle of the 20th century, the term "Motown" began to mean much more than just Detroit's automotive industry. The history of Motown Records is one that changed the face of music and race relations in America. Michael Laurenty, an instructor at Cleveland State University and Tri-C, will be here to discuss Motown and the legendary figures associated with it such as The Supremes, The Four Tops, Stevie Wonder and many more.
