Eaton Family Credit Union Awards Scholarships

Eaton Family Credit Union is very proud to announce two Lake County high school graduates have been awarded college scholarships.

Mallory Malchesky, a resident of Concord, and Robert Williams, of Chardon, have been selected as recipients of Eaton Family Credit Union scholarships for 2019, CEO Mike Losneck said. Both students are recent graduates of Lake Catholic High School in Mentor and will receive $5,000 toward tuition to help them attain their educational goals.

“We received many scholarship applications this year and were very impressed with their overall quality,” said Losneck. “However, Mallory and Robert’s academic performance, involvement at school and service to their communities pushed their applications to the top.”

Mallory, a First Honors student her entire scholastic career, was an active member of National Honor Society, involved with student government and qualified for states as an individual in gymnastics. She will be attending the University of Cincinnati this Fall where she’ll study business with plans to eventually help run a major company.

Robert was on the Honors Merit roll, played varsity football, wrestling and lacrosse; and was a finalist on the Geauga County Junior Fair Court. Robert will be attending the Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster this Fall. Upon graduating college, he plans to take over the family farm and turn its operation into a profitable and successful full-time business.

“Congratulations and good luck, Mallory and Robert,” Losneck said.
