Euclid Panthers Summer Swim Team Marches Into a New Season

The Euclid Panthers Summer Swim Team was pleased to kick off this summer's season by marching in the Euclid Memorial Day Parade. Swim Team Coach Bryan Scheider led the group accompanied by his son Noah, volunteer parent board members, and a group of energetic swim team members. The weather was absolutely beautiful which encouraged large crowds that egged on an enthusiastic distribution of candy and fliers by our swimmers. From the beginning of the parade on Lakeshore Boulevard all the way to the end of it at Euclid City Hall and through the veteran's ceremony that followed, it was an excellent way to honor those who died serving our country, to finally revel in some sunshine, and to celebrate all things Euclid.

Are you thinking a summer at Euclid Memorial Pool would be a positive, healthy and constructive way for your child to spend the summer? Well, you would be absolutely correct, it is!

Information about the summer swim team, swim meets, sponsorship opportunities, etc. can be found at www.euclidpanthersssl.webs.com. You can register your child online here or at the Euclid Recreation Department window in city hall. Remember to bring two forms of identification such as a driver's license and utility bill to prove residency. If registering online you can send proof of residency directly Hannah Zavorek at hzavorek@cityofeuclid.com

There is still time to join in on the fun for Summer 2019 but don't wait too much longer! Practice starts June 3rd at 8:00am and the first meet at home against Eastlake June 15th.

Looking forward to another great swim season in Euclid. See you in the pool!
