The First Tee of Cleveland teaches Life Skills through the game of golf

Registration is open for Summer and Fall youth golf programs at Briardale Greens, delivered by The First Tee of Cleveland.

The First Tee of Cleveland’s 2019 season is underway at Briardale Greens Golf Course in Euclid. Kids and teens are encouraged to sign up for fun and friendship on the fairways!

The mission of the local non-profit organization is to positively impact the lives of young people ages 6 to 18 by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

If your son or daughter is interested in making friends, being outside, learning or improving golf skills and having fun, then The First Tee of Cleveland is the program for you.

Through safe, trained coaches, participants will learn about our Nine Core Values, Nine Healthy Habits, and robust Life Skills seamlessly through their lessons delivered by The First Tee of Cleveland. No golf equipment is needed. Participants receive a golf shirt and hat.

Registration is now open for The First Tee of Cleveland’s Summer Session (taking place June 3 – August 3) and Fall Session (taking place September 3 – October 19). The Late Fall session takes place only at the Washington Golf Course in Newburgh Heights (Saturday only).

Classes at Briardale Greens are scheduled on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. The cost is $40 for the Mighty Mites class (6 and 7-year-olds) and $55 per season for PLAYer, Teen PLAYer and Par participants. For the complete class schedule, visit: https://bit.ly/2GCYOxZ.

The First Tee of Cleveland is one of 140 chapters of The First Tee®, a national initiative begun in 1997. A five-year independent research study shows that the programs positively impacts grades, self-confidence and social responsibility.
