Euclid Hometown Heroes Banner Program

The Euclid Joint Veterans Council and Keep Euclid Beautiful are proud to bring you the Euclid Hometown Heroes Banner Program.

This is a tribute to recognize and honor our residents and/or their immediate family members who are currently serving or who have served our country in the Armed Forces.

Banners will be individualized for a specific service person and will include his or her name, branch of service, photo and name(s) of sponsor.  The cost to sponsor a banner is $140.00.  The banners will be displayed along the Memorial Day Parade route from Memorial Day, May 31, 2019  through Veterans Day, November 11, 2019.  They will then be taken down and given to the sponsor at the end of the season.  The following year you may have your banner displayed at a lower cost (not yet determined).

More information and the application can be found at www.cityofeuclid.com under announcements and/or the Keep Euclid Beautiful webpage on the cities website.  You can also stop into City Hall and pick up an information packet and application from our receptionist during business hours.  Direct questions can be emailed to Keepeuclidbeautiful@cityofeuclid.com or call 216-289-2786.

Please join us on Veterans Day, Sunday November 11, 2018 at 11am for a ceremony honoring our Veterans.
City Hall will be open only for the 11am Veterans Day ceremony and will close promptly after the ceremony.

The Euclid Joint Veterans Council and Keep Euclid Beautiful will have the first Euclid Hometown Hero Banner on display for the November 11th Veterans Day ceremony.  The Euclid Historical Society will also have WWI memorabilia on display in the City Hall lobby to commemorate the 100- year anniversary of the end of World War I.

Please join us for this very important celebration.
