Squares, Contras, and Waltzes, Oh My!

Skirts were twirling, hands were clapping, and people were smiling having a great time at the first Community Dance of the season at Shore Cultural Centre. The new Lake Erie Folk Fest dance series began on September 21st and continues next month featuring "The Real Deal Stringband" on October 19th. Experienced dancers, as well as those completely new to square and contra dance, are welcome to take to the floor or just enjoy the music. The dances are fun for every age and there is instruction at each dance. Upcoming dance dates are 10/19, 11/16, 2/22, 3/15, and 4/19 at Shore Cultural Centre, 291 E. 222nd, in Euclid. Dances are 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm; $10 adults, $5 seniors and students, 12 years old and younger are free.
