FreshWater Cleveland editor to teach Artists Way-themed class at The Green House this fall
As Euclid’s resident space for coworking and collaboration, The Green House is already a haven for creatives and entrepreneurs—and a new class being offered this fall will empower them to step up their game. Euclid resident and FreshWater Cleveland editor Jen Jones Donatelli will teach “CLEative Groove: An Artist’s Way Journey,” a 12-week course geared at personal and professional transformation.
Based on Julia Cameron’s best-selling book The Artist’s Way, the course will offer interactive, insightful exercises and tools for making creative breakthroughs. “Whether you want to spark your side hustle, kickstart your art, or just get out of a personal or professional rut, The Artist’s Way is a meaningful way to do just that, and its impact continues long past the course,” says Jones Donatelli.
Jones Donatelli should know—she studied The Artist’s Way in Los Angeles for many years with Cameron’s colleague Kelly Morgan. Jones Donatelli’s own career has spanned many creative pursuits, from the entertainment industry to journalism to event planning. She has also taught courses on writing and creativity for Ohio University, Literary Cleveland, StoryStudio Chicago, and MediaBistro. A Euclid native, she relocated back to Cleveland in December 2017 after 16 years in Los Angeles. “Most people I speak to here in Cleveland say they haven’t heard of the Artist’s Way yet, but they're intrigued. I’m excited to share it with a new audience and launch ‘CLEative Groove,” says Jones Donatelli.
