Make That Next Presentation Memorable!

Has the boss asked you to conduct a presentation to your colleagues? Do you have a job interview coming up? Are you nervous when you speak in front of a group? Do you find that you have something important to say, but have trouble making your point effectively and with authority? If you want to improve your communication skills, then Toastmasters has something to offer. Participating in a Toastmasters club provides a friendly, encouraging environment for people with various backgrounds and experience with public speaking. Meetings typically include opportunities for members to conduct prepared presentations, conduct impromptu speeches, and evaluate or be evaluated on communication and leadership skills displayed throughout the meeting.

Toastmasters International is a worldwide nonprofit educational organization that empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. There are a number of Toastmasters Clubs in northeast Ohio, so finding one that is conveniently located close to your workplace or home is pretty easy. If you live or work in the Euclid area, please consider visiting the Bailey Toastmasters Club, which meets at the Euclid Public Library on Thursday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. To learn more, visit http://3628.toastmastersclubs.org/.
