James and the Giant Peach Was a Hit!
In November, Our Lady of the Lake parish did a production of James and the Giant Peach Jr. The play was performed by children from grades 1st through 8th. This year the play was held at Shore Cultural Center to give the actors and actresses a chance to perform on a real stage. The students enjoyed performing there and thanked Mrs. Testa, our Youth Minister, for the idea and for all her work on the play. James and the Giant Peach is a loveable story, and the play was full of love and teamwork throughout the cast and crew. The cast became close and worked very hard on the play. On the last night, the 8th graders were given trophies and recognition, as it was their last play. James and the Giant Peach was a huge hit!
