EPL Foundation Annual Campaign Aims to Protect & Expand Library Offerings

This past September, the Euclid Public Library Foundation Board of Trustees launched its annual fundraising campaign to garner continued support for the library’s programs and services.  With this effort, we aim to raise $80,000 to help replace local and state funding and to provide funding for future projects.

As stakeholders, we are thankful that despite reductions, EPL remains an active and vital part of our community. To ensure the library continues offering high-quality programs and expands services to meet our growing community needs, the Foundation is humbly asking members of the community to consider making a tax-deductible, year-end gift to the EPL Foundation.

Funds raised will help the library decrease the digital divide, making new technologies more accessible to patrons. For example, with additional funding, the library plans to purchase specialized technology kits to introduce students to robotics. Also, the library aims to boost its early literacy programs and help young learners, by updating the Sparkle Spot Early Literacy Center, hosting children’s book authors, and offering more hands-on science and technology programs. Additional funding will also enable the library to increase outreach services for seniors and homebound patrons.

For more than 80 years, EPL has been a vibrant community resource, helping children and adults of all ages. More than a building that houses books and media resources, the library serves as a community center that provides a forum for readers, writers, residents, and city leaders to interact.

The programs and services now offered at Euclid Library transforms lives. Currently, the library’s programs and services encompass childhood and adult literacy, vocational and professional development, civic engagement, travel exploration, and personal interest such as photography, mind and body wellness.

This month, please consider the Euclid Public Library Foundation by making a year-end gift to support programs and services offered by EPL, contributing to our strength of our community as a whole.
