A Note from Euclid Kiwanis

What and exciting time we had at the National Night out against Crime held on August 2nd. The Kiwanis club had a dum-dum tree for the children. If they picked a dum-dum with a colored stick they received a prize.  There was a raffle for the kids to sign up for chance to win a back pack full of school supplies. There were two winner’s, one for a girl and one for a boy.  Officer Bonchek pulled the names and awarded each of the winners. Thank you Officer Bonchek for your assistance and service!  Fun was had by all!

Currently our Kiwanis club is searching for a place to hold a Poormans raffle. It is one of our fundraisers, with the profits going to continue the support of our community projects, Boots and Shoes, scholarships for high school  seniors, Preschool teddy bears aka-Terrific  Kids program, Mary Mavec school, and many others.

It has been a very big challenge in the last few years to continue to have our annual corn roast and other events that many residents in Euclid and surround communities have looked forward to , because we have no place to have them.  We have been able to find a few and we thank them for their space, but scheduling their events and our events have taken on an even bigger challenge.

So if you know of any place or have a place, please call our President – Rose Tanner at 216-261-3630, we would be very grateful!
