Italian Day, Eastern European Night: Two Stages Provide Lots of Entertainment Options at the Ss. Robert & William International Family Festival, August 11-14
Dom & Russ, The Modern Day Rat Pack, will perform in the air-conditioned entertainment area on Sunday, Aug 14 (which is Italian Day) at the Ss. Robert and William International Family Festival.
Two separate stages (one is air-conditioned) will allow a wider variety of bands to play at the 6th annual International Family Festival, August 11 through 14, at Ss. Robert and William Catholic Church in Euclid.
THURSDAY, AUGUST 11:
Cruisin’ with Ron Howard plays Motown hits from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. under the outdoor Main Tent.
Irish Night! New Barley Corn, a popular Irish duo, will play from 6 to 9 p.m. in the indoor Oktoberfest Area (air conditioned gym). Corned beef sandwiches, Irish soda bread and other Irish favorites will be available for sale.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 12:
Festivus (Rock) plays from 7 to 11 p.m. under the outdoor Main Tent.
Eastern European Night! Patty C & the Boys will play Polka from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the indoor Oktoberfest Area (air conditioned gym). Slovenian sausage, stuffed cabbage, cabbage and noodles and other favorites will be available for sale.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 13:
Ulterior Motive (formerly Mid Life Crisis) (Rock) plays from 7 to Midnight under the outdoor Main Tent.
German Night! Eric & Nancy Noltkamper (German band) will play from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the indoor Oktoberfest Area (air conditioned gym). Bratwurst, potato pancakes and warm pretzels will be available for sale.
SUNDAY, AUGUST 14:
The Joey Tomsick Orchestra will play at our 11 a.m. Polka Mass and then on the Main Tent stage from 12:30 to 3 p.m.
Zug, Father Scott Goodfellow’s band, plays from 3 to 5 p.m. on the Main Tent stage.
Phil ‘n the Blanks (Rock) will play from 5 to 8 p.m. on the Main Tent stage.
Italian Day! Dom & Russ “The Modern Day Rat Pack” will play from 2 to 5 p.m. in the indoor Oktoberfest Area (air conditioned gym). Italian sausage subs, cavatelli and meatballs will be available for sale.
The sixth annual International Family Festival will take place on the grounds of Ss. Robert and William Catholic Church, 367 E. 260th Street, August 11-14.
Festival activities will also include rides, games, children's games, hands-on activities and pony rides. Homemade ethnic foods including pierogi, stuffed cabbage and Raddell's Slovenian sausage, as well as traditional festival favorites, will be served. A Chinese Auction and a chance to win a 2016 Honda Accord LX Lease for 3 years or $12,500 in cash will also be available. Tickets are on sale now at the parish office. Returning to the popular festival line-up is the Classic Car Cruise In on Sunday, August 14.
