Euclid Wind Festival Returns June 25th!

Enjoy the view on a teethered hot air balloon ride!

The Euclid Wind Fest, enjoyed by thousands of residents from Euclid and beyond in 2014, returns to beautiful Sims Park on Saturday, June 25, 2016! Have you ever thought about the many ways wind can be used? From flight to a cool summer breeze, we’ll celebrate this invisible power source with many fun activities! Want to explore the beach from new heights? Take a ride in a tethered hot air balloon. Leave land behind you on a kayak ride into the lake. Aspiring pilots will be entertained by a drone show and simulation. Kids will enjoy bouncy inflatables, craft and science experiment stations, and a gigantic bubble show by Guinness World Record-holder DrURawesome. Be amazed by the stealthy acrobatics of Jasmine Dragons aerial silks in between sets by the Ulterior Motive band. All this and more takes place at 23131 Lakeshore Boulevard from 3-8 PM. You are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets for your comfort. Thanks to the support of many local sponsors, some activities are free while others are offered for a reasonable charge. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Sponsors include K & D Management, Euclid Hospital, AAble Rents, Infield Chiropractic, The Coral Company, SIMS Buick GMC, HGR, Moore Counseling & Mediation Services Inc., among many others who donated both time and funding to make this spectacular event a reality. There is still time for your organization or business to lend support! Contact Laura Kidder at llk@thecoralcompany or (216) 289-8578 for more information. Stay up-to-date on activities and schedule at www.shoreculturalcentre.com. The Euclid Wind Fest is organized by the City of Euclid, Euclid Chamber of Commerce, and Shore Cultural Centre, along with Wizard of Ahs special event professionals. The Euclid Wind Festival is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
