Euclid Culinary School and the Pull Tab Program

In case you are not aware of it, the Euclid Culinary School is located in the basement of the Shore Cultural Centre. During the school year, a number of students participate in the culinary class. And part of the class is preparing lunch for patrons, usually on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 11 to 12:20. Carryout is also available by calling (216) 261-2073 between 10:30 AM and 12 PM. In addition, a buffet is offered several times a year. If you missed out on any of the lunches or buffets you missed out on a great deal. You can visit them at http://www.shoreculturalcentre.com/shore-tenants/culinary-bistro.

Not only do they serve meals but they also save the aluminum tabs from the pop cans. They were able to save 2 pounds 4 ounces of tabs which were delivered to the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) of Cleveland, 10415 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106. Tabs can be dropped off daily at the RMH House between the Hours of 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. The Pop Tab Collection Program has been established to  allow individuals and businesses to collect aluminum pop tabs from  cans and donate them to the RMH. RMH uses the money received from recycling the tabs to help offset operational  expenses and/or to sponsor or support programs. In 2015, over 13,000 pounds of aluminum tabs were collected, generating over $6,500 in recycling revenue.

You too can help. Save the tabs!
