Fellowship and Fun at Parish Picnic

Our Lady of the Lake celebrated another great parish picnic on June 21, with outdoor Mass, good food, games, prizes and of course great music. Thanks to a great crew of volunteers, there was something for everyone. They fired up the grills, and laid out a feast of good food and drink. Free ice cream for the kids, a balloon clown and plenty of games and prizes kept little ones busy all afternoon. There was bocce and cornhole, and music from the Joey Tomsick Orchestra to set the mood. And the Italian American Club in Wickliffe provided the perfect setting, with seating for hundreds and lots of room to run and play. It was a great day out with family and friends, and a wonderful way to celebrate our parish community. We’re already looking forward to next year’s picnic: save the date for June 26, 2016!
