Topp’s Dry Cleaners Goes Green

As Euclid becomes an environmentally sustainable community, so are businesses like Topp's Dry Cleaners.

From wind turbines to solar panels, there are many signs that Euclid is becoming an environmentally sustainable community.  Now Topp’s Dry Cleaners is offering area residents an organic, environmentally conscious way of having their clothes cleaned.

Located on Shore Center Drive across the street from Dave’s Supermarket, Topp’s Dry Cleaners has invested a significant amount of money in a new dry cleaning machine that utilizes all natural detergents that do not emit harsh chemical odors, and is especially better for people who may have sensitive skin.  One of the ingredients camellia oil, or “green tea oil” is widely used in Asia.  The company’s cleaning method is also energy efficient as it uses less water.  Other major benefits to the new method of dry cleaning at Topp’s is whiter whites, and softer, brighter colors without fading.

Although Topp’s Dry Cleaners has been located in Euclid for more than 40 years, their new approach to dry cleaning methods has become increasingly popular among residents.  The word has been spread on the popular Facebook page “Ways to Make Euclid a Better City.”  Some residents are even considering a “Cash Mob” to promote this progressive local business.

In addition to friendly service, affordable prices, and environmentally-conscious dry cleaning, Topp’s also provides custom tailoring and alterations.  If you need to clean that wool coat after this harsh winter, but want to go easier on the environment in the process, please stop at Topp’s Dry Cleaners at 22634 Shore Center Drive.
