Willow Pool celebrates Christmas in July

The sun was shining bright as the Willow Pool Lifeguards rang sleighbells and scooped snow cones for swimmers Friday, July 25, at the Willow Pool Christmas in July Extravaganza. The party was quite a hit among patrons and brought in a large crowd! Swimmers enjoyed various treats such as snow cones and popcicles, and got creative with Christmas tattoos and stickers! This lifeguard sponsored event even featured an appearance from Santa Claus during the three-o’clock rest period!

Willow Pool is located in Willow Park off of Willow Drive and is one three Euclid neighborhood small pools. A Euclid seasonal pool pass allows entry into all of the neighborhood pools. The neighborhood pools are a great location for families with children to enjoy a relaxing day in the sun. Many moms and dads bring their children to the neighborhood pools because the pools are shallow and great for all ages! The guards at the small pools often become very close with the regular attendees over the course of the summer. “I like working at Willow because the kids are always so fun and respectful to all the guards” says Willow Pool manager, Hannah Gawor. “The guard staff develops a close relationship with many of the families, which makes coming to work ten times more fun!”
