Euclid native to lead All Saints School

Michael Fasciano, Euclid native, and new All Saints School Principal

Euclid native Michael Fasciano has been named principal of All Saints of St. John Vianney School in Wickliffe, a vibrant elementary and middle school, with a history of academic excellence.

Born and raised in Euclid, Fasciano is a graduate of the former St. William School, now Ss. Robert and William Catholic School, and St. Joseph High School in Cleveland. His sister and brother-in-law still reside in Euclid.

At All Saints, Fasciano will lead a team of highly experienced teachers and staff, who are dedicated to helping students achieve their highest academic potential. He is energized by the opportunity to shape the future of the school as a faith-based learning environment that is able to meet the diverse education needs of students and their families.

“I'm truly excited to be at All Saints,” he says. “With a teaching staff that is talented and enthusiastic, and a student body that is second to none, we can’t help but succeed.”

Fasciano proudly notes the sense of community he has experienced at the school.

“All Saints School is truly like family - caring, warm and loving - and for our teachers and staff – the school is a real extension of our families at home,” he notes.

Prior to joining All Saints, Fasciano served as principal of Saint Leo the Great School in Cleveland. He was a junior high math teacher at the school for 10 years before becoming principal, a post he held for 17 years.

Fasciano is well regarded within the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland for his commitment to education and faith-based learning.

His past honors include being named Principal of the Year for the Western Region of the Cleveland Diocese in 1990. He received the John Carroll University Alumni Educator Award for exemplary service in the field of education in 2004, having earned a master’s in education from the university in 1985.

All Saints teachers say he is a great addition to the school.

"His experience, love, and commitment to Catholic education are evident and his enthusiasm for the school is contagious,” says Jeanine Maschak, a first grade teacher at All Saints, and a Euclid resident. “I am looking forward to a great year with Mr. Fasciano leading our students to be 21st Century thinkers and learners, as well as good stewards of the Catholic Church."

Fasciano is married with two sons, ages 14 and 17. While he currently resides in Broadview Heights, he and his family have long maintained a tradition of sharing big family meals every other Sunday at his sister’s house on E. 216th St. in Euclid.

All Saints School is located on the campus of the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe, 28702 Euclid Ave. The school was established in 1977 by the late Rev. Robert Kline and offers a faith-based learning environment for students in preschool through eighth grade.
