Economy Friendly Salon

We all want to get pampered and still have the finances for bills. Well, this past June two young ladies opened a beauty salon with that concept in mind. With the way that the economy is now there is barely enough money to go around and stay up with the fashion. Salimah Hunter and Erica Lamar decided to utilize Euclid Square Mall after they saw that it possessed everything they needed to start what they call their life's passion. Beauty was the only thing that kept these ladies sane.

They intend to have a mentorship program for young ladies. This program will help these young ladies develop into mature women. They expect to be a shoulder for these girls to lean on and help them through the difficult times of their lives when they have the most trouble: teenage and young adult years. They were troubled youth and want to give back and show other young people that there is light at the end of the tunnel. These girls will learn basic life skills, job readiness, and how to embrace the beauty within. Although outward beauty is important in so many aspects of life, there is a proper way to achieve the beauty in you without being too revealing.

Studio 73 is having their first annual Friends & Family picnic on August 12th @ 2pm at Euclid Creek off Highland road. All are welcome, they are accepting donations for their back-to-school bookbag giveaway, they need backpacks, paper, pens, pencils, glue, markers, notebooks, folders and any other supplies necessary to kids started for school, they also want to get some uniforms as well. Donations can be dropped off at the salon or at the picnic.

The salon has two specials that are ongoing, Monday Madness- EVERY MONDAY Roller sets are $10 and Spiral Sets are $15; Every First Tuesday of EVERY month all senior citizens 55 and older recieve 50% off all services.

Salimah Hunter and Erica Lamar are new to the city of Euclid. They opened their multicultural salon for business June 11, 2012. They are family and economy friendly and have 3 stylists and a receptionist. They are looking to do many great things with the city like community give backs, fundraisers for youth, back to school drives and much more. They are hoping to rejuvenate Euclid Square Mall for the residents of the city and have joined with several other small business owners who have the same goal in mind. They believe Euclid is a vibrant city with many hidden gems.
