City Council Sets Goals for 2020 -2021

At the July 20, 2020 Euclid City Council meeting, Council passed Resolution 070-20 approving the City Council Goals for the 2020-2021 term.  As Council had done previously for the 2018-2019 term, Council members have come together to try to proactively address issues, ideas, and projects that have been publically presented and discussed at Council meetings, Committee meetings, Community meetings and/or at Work sessions.  While there will still be individual projects that each Council member may work on, this Council has proactively agreed to prioritize the ones listed in the 10 areas outlined.  For many areas there are quantitative measures put in place so goals are measurable.

When a City Council can focus on community based priorities, there will undoubtedly be cost savings, better resource allocation, more informed resident participation, and a more unified and directed strategy focused on issues that impact the Community. While we usually present the Council Goals in March, this year Healthcare priorities took center stage.  However, this City Council will continue to collaborate with the Administration to accomplish the Council Goals in a timely and measured manner.

Respectfully,

Charlene Mancuso

Euclid City Council President
