Prepare to travel back in time. We are going to acquaint ourselves with family members who came before us. Using tools like census records, family interviews, and heirlooms, we are going to do our best to find our family’s place in history.  

  

Virtual Yoga Storytime

Monday, August 10 | 10:00 AM

Join us for a special storytime that will get your body moving and stretching. Designed for kids Pre-K to 1st grade, this storytime will help develop body awareness, mindfulness, and a sense of calm. Parents and caregivers are also welcome to participate. No yoga mat needed, just an open patch of floor to sit on.

Level Up: Virtual Skills for the Virtual Classroom

With our student’s education becoming more virtual by the minute, we are going to do our part to help fine-tune student’s virtual classroom skills like creating proper email messages, doing independent research online, and creating Google docs, spreadsheets, and slideshows. We will provide sensible learning opportunities that not only keep student’s skills sharp but also help to build confidence in their learning abilities.

Virtual Comic Book Club for Teens

Looking for a place to read and explore your favorite superheroes and supervillains? Have you ever tried to create your own superhero or supervillain? How would they match up against Captain Marvel or Superman? This is the perfect place for us to talk about all things superhero.

Did you know that you can use your EPL card to access digital books, audiobooks, comics, magazines, movies, and TV shows? Join us for an informative session on how to use your card to access electronic materials to help your student in the classroom this upcoming school year.

Ideal for parents of learners and teachers. Solo students welcome! Be sure to have your library card handy. You'll also need your PIN which is usually the last four digits of your phone number. Don't know what it is? Call 216-261-5300 and speak with a Circulation staff member to reset your PIN.
