‘Euclid’ mural ornament, postcards on sale at Lakeshore Coffee House
Earlier this year artist, educator, and Euclid resident Meg Garbincus designed and began painting Euclid’s newest addition to our community’s growing collection of public art. The mural depicts iconic landmarks including the Joseph Farrell Memorial Fishing Pier and the Lincoln Electric Wind Turbine inside bold block letters spelling ‘Euclid’. The mural is in-progress and set for completion - by Meg with the assistance of students in Euclid High School’s art program - in 2020.
Show off your Euclid hometown pride and spread a little cheer by sending a postcard print of the mural as a holiday greeting card or adorning your tree with an ornament featuring the custom, hand-drawn art work. The ornaments come in a box ready to wrap and make perfect stocking stuffers or hostess gifts, too!
Now through Christmas 2019 (or while supplies last!), visit Lakeshore Coffee House at 22032 Lakeshore Boulevard to purchase packs of 10 USPS mailable postcards sold for $5 / pack. Ornaments printed with the mural art work and a ‘happy holidays’ greeting will be sold for $10 each. Proceeds benefit Keep Euclid Beautiful, a committee of the City of Euclid committed to beautifying the City through litter pick up, plantings, and public art.
