Message from the Mayor

Happy Holidays to you and your families!  As this year comes to an end, I am grateful for the many blessings we have in our community.  I am proud of the progress we have made this year, the relationships that have been built or strengthened, and the resiliency that our community has shown when faced with challenges.

I would like to say thank you to Euclid Council President John Monroe, Ward 2 Councilwoman Madeline Scarniench, Ward 6 Councilman Patrick Delaney, and Judge Deborah LeBarron for their service to the City.  Each of them has contributed in a positive way to our community and we truly appreciate their service, leadership, and commitment to our community.  I would like to congratulate Council President-elect Charlene Mancuso, Ward 2 Councilman-elect Brian Moore, Ward 4 Councilman Kris Jarosz, Ward 6 Councilman-elect John Wojtila, Ward 8 Councilwoman Laura Gorshe, and Judge-elect Patrick Gallagher on their successful elections.  I look forward to working with them to continue our work of creating a vibrant community where we all can be proud to live, work and visit.

As you prepare for the holidays, please remember your local stores, restaurants and entertainment establishments.  We all want thriving neighborhood commercial districts – but they will only thrive with our support.  By keeping your dollars local, you are helping to improve our local economy while supporting small, resident owned and operated businesses.  Please shop local whenever you can!

I am also grateful for the community organizations and the many people who work every day to help those in need and help strengthen our community.  During this season of giving, if you are able to make a charitable contribution please give locally.  Our local organizations and community groups truly make a difference everyday right here in our community and they depend on the generosity of time and resources from all of us.

On behalf of the City of Euclid, I wish you much joy and many blessings this holiday season!  Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our community.  I look forward to a new year filled with peace, happiness, and continued prosperity for the City of Euclid.
