Euclid Police Crime Prevention Mini Conference

When it comes to safety and home security, do you want to make a difference in your community? Would you like to take positive action and play and active role in change? Are you willing to work with your neighbors and police to make your street a safe place?  Residents and police working together to solve problems and make life in the City of Euclid better is community policing in action.  Mark your calendar now for this year’s Euclid Police Crime Prevention Mini Conference which is being held on Saturday, July 18th at the Lincoln Electric Welding and Technology Center, 22800 St. Clair Avenue, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event is designed so that you can come anytime between 10 a.m.  and 1 p.m. to visit with law enforcement, businesses and crime prevention organizations who are available to answer your questions and provide resources.  For example, ACE Hardware will have on display items you can utilized to target harden your home such as door and window locks, Chagrin Valley Dispatchers will be on hand to discuss the best ways for residents to provide information to dispatchers who communicate with officers, and Damsel in Defense will showcase tools designed for women to use for self-protection. Some items may be available for purchase during this event.

The Lincoln Electric Welding and Technology Center is easily found on the corner of St. Clair Avenue and E. 222 Street, centrally located for all residents of the City of Euclid.  This new building is an excellent location with bright open spaces and a large parking lot.  Make plans to attend this remarkable facility and learn how you can work with police to make your home and Euclid a safer place!  The Euclid Police Crime Prevention Mini Conference is a FREE event and open to the public.
