National Human Trafficking Awareness Day

January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. Learn how you can get involved.

National Human Trafficking Awareness Day is observed every year on January 11. Presidential Proclamation of National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month started this observance in 2011. The victims are all subjected to the horrific injustices of human trafficking, including sex trafficking, forced labor, involuntary servitude, forced marriage, and debt bondage. Join Euclid Public Library on Friday, January 10, at 1:00 PM at the Fireplace to learn more about this critical topic.
