Our new Anniversary CD "All Are Welcome"  Songs from the Liturgical Year will be released soon!   

As you may recall, last year, the Our Lady of the Lake Music Ministries released a Christmas recording entitled “O Come, All Ye Faithful.”  There were about 46 volunteers involved in this project utilizing youth and adults from the school and parish, as well as different instrumentations, harmonies and styles.  

The Christmas CD was a pilot project to see if parishioners would be interested in having a musical piece of Our Lady of the Lake in their homes.  We had produced 500 CD’s, and of the 500, less than 50 are left!

Since God has blessed us with the appreciation of the gift of music in our parish community, and in gratitude and celebration, we will be launching a new anniversary recording this Christmas season which will include about 19 tracks of music from the liturgical church year, including Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, Ordinary Time, as well as a couple of Marian songs.  This new CD will be available around  Christmas - just in time for gift shopping! And it can be enjoyed all year long!  

Some of our songs will include:  O Come, O Come Emmanuel, My Soul Rejoices, We Are Called, The Servant Song, Alleluia Give the Glory and Christ the Lord Is Risen Today. 

Recording sessions are complete and now we move on to the production phase of our CD.  In order to keep costs down, we will be gladly accepting free-will donations.  Mechanical licenses are needed in order to release songs that are copyrighted. The cost for a mechanical license for one song is about $45.
