We’re Recording Again! "All Are Welcome" CD in Production

Our Lady of the Lake Music Ministry is hard at work recording a new anniversary CD, All Are Welcome. This CD, which is a tribute to the 10-year anniversary of OLL Parish (February 2020), is a compilation of songs from the Liturgical Church Year.

Slated for a Christmas release, Music Director, Melissa Gali-Bird explains:" Since God has blessed us with the appreciation of the gift of music in our parish community, and in graditude and celebration, we will be launching a new anniversary CD this coming Christmas".

The new CD will include songs from the liturgical church year including Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, Ordinary Time and a couple of Marian songs.  Some favorites include:  "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel",  "The Servant Song", "Jesus Christ Has Risen Today", "Alleluia! Give the Glory" and of course, the title track, "All Are Welcome".

The Parish and community have been generous in getting behind the recording and have been donating to help keep costs down, as the price for a mechanical license is $45 per song.  Many folks have stepped forward to be involved in the production.  These volunteers are involved in utilizing youth and adults from the school and parish, as well as different instrumentations, harmonies and styles.

Our Lady of the Lake Music Ministries produced their first CD, "O Come All Ye Faithful" last Christmas and sold most of the 500 copies produced.

If you are interested in reserving a copy of the CD, All Are Welcome as a Christmas gift, please see the December issue of the Observer for details on how to secure your copy.
