Hunger Center Preparing for the Holidays

Located on the lower level of Shore Cultural Centre, 291 Babbitt Rd.  Contact us at 216/731-3329 or euclidhungercenter@gmail.com

The holidays are fast approaching, which means the Hunger Center is gearing up for a busy time of year.  With the number of visitors to our center at an all-time high the last several months, we are expecting record numbers to continue through the end of the year.   In order to keep the shelves stocked well into the new year, EHC is counting on our community's support.  We have always been fortunate that many schools, organizations and businesses in Euclid sponsor fundraising and food drives at this time of year, and we are hopeful that the tradition will continue.

Please keep in mind that while it is nice to think of providing all the fixings for a holiday meal, the reality is that our clients rely on us more for the staples they need on a day to day basis.  Some of the most requested items are:  cereal, cream soups, canned chicken/tuna, and canned fruits and vegetables.  Food donations can be dropped off at EHC, or in the drop-off bins at Euclid Public Library, St. John of the Cross Church or Lakeshore United Methodist Church (next to Marc's).  We are also grateful for cash donations, which we can use to make bulk purchases of food.  You may donate online at www.euclidhungercenter.com or by mailing checks, payable to Euclid Hunger Center, to P.O. Box 23554, Euclid OH  44123.

Our motto at EHC is "Neighbors Helping Neighbors."  Let's show our neighbors how much we care during this upcoming season of gratitude and giving.
