Victory: a Musical Celebration of the WWII Years

Vocalist Don Disantis will be performing music from the World War II era in this not-to-be-missed concert.

Music has the power to move us to tears, to laughter, or to the dance floor. Come to Shore Cultural Centre on Saturday, September 7, at 2 p.m. and let music transport you on a nostalgic journey through the World War II years. Songs such as “The A Train,” “As Time Goes By,” and “It Had to Be You” will take listeners back to the Forties and remind us how great music carries us through the best and worst of times. A medley of patriotic favorites like “Grand Old Flag” and “Over There” will get toes tapping and hands clapping and will finish with a  salute to our men and women in the service.

Vocalist Don Disantis has an extensive background in theater and music which combines to create a popular, audience-friendly style. Disantis will be accompanied by band members Karin Tooley on piano, George Judy on drums, Brian Dorr on bass, Bob Gref on clarinet and sax, and Mike Fisher on trumpet. This not-to-be-missed concert is perfect for families.

Tickets for the show "Victory: A Musical Celebration" are $10 or $5 for veterans and can be purchased by calling 216-289-8578 or online at www.shoreculturalcentre.com.
