Creating a Welcoming Environment for All

Euclid Public Library strives to foster a welcoming environment while encouraging patrons to use the facility to cultivate discovery, lifelong learning, and enrichment. To preserve that opportunity, the library expects all patrons to be respectful of each other and behave in a manner that does not disrupt other patrons or staff.

As we prepare for the new school year, we want to remind you of our Adult Chaperone Required Guidelines.

Starting August 15, between the hours of 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM, a parent, guardian or caregiver over the age of 21 must accompany children under the age of 18 in the library Monday – Friday, during the school year.

The library offers many programs for unattended children and teens during the limited access time. Students may register for a program by:

  • Going to Eventbrite on our Teen Calendar (www.euclidlibrary.org/calendar)
  • Visiting the Teen or Children's areas and registering with a library staff member
  • Sending an email to euclid.teens@euclidlibrary.org
  • Calling (216) 261-5300 x 5187

Those participating in a program can enter the building fifteen (15) minutes before the program starts.

Additionally, Euclid Public Library is a proud member of the National Safe Place Network and will always be a safe place for students in need.

Euclid Public Library thanks you for your help to make the library a welcoming place for all.
