The Friends of Euclid Creek, in partnership with the Collinwood Rain Barrel Project and the City of Beachwood are sponsoring a Rain Barrel Painting workshop June 1st and 2nd for adults and families. (Families are encouraged to register but there will only be one barrel per family.)

To keep it fun there will be food and live music at the Beachwood Service Center. Please hurry and sign-up on our website. euclidcreekwatershed.org/events

The deadline for reservations is May 24th and will be limited to the first twenty participants and their families who register, pay their fee, and sign and submit their waiver.

On Saturday 6/1 the event will run from 11:00am to 4:00pm and on Sunday 6/2 the event will run from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

On day one, participants will prepare their barrels for painting, and begin painting their designs. On day 2 participants will complete their work.

At the end of the two-day workshop, participants should have a beautiful, decorative rain barrel of their very own. Some of these "public" rain barrels may be selected to participate in, and, be placed on display at a Beachwood Community Center art show in July and August.

Credit card payments preferred. Cash or checks can be hand delivered to Cuyahoga SWCD for processing at 3311 Perkins Suite 100 Cleveland Ohio 44114. You will not be registered until payment is received.

This project is made possible by a generous grant from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture to Friends of Euclid Creek.
