Become a Toastmaster and Improve Your Public Speaking and Leadership Skills

One of our newest members, Tyretta Stores, as Toastmaster of the evening welcoming Ellie club member Judy Bateman to the lecturn.

Toastmasters International www.toastmasters.org is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. If you are looking to improve these skills in hopes for a promotion, to prepare for an interview, or just to increase your confidence in your day day interactions at work, home or with friends you don’t have to go far. Bailey Toastmasters meets every Thursday evening from 7:00pm-8:00pm at the Euclid Public Library.*

The Bailey Toastmasters Club www.3628.toastmastersclubs.org includes a diverse membership ranging from their mid 20’s through their 70’s with an interesting mix of backgrounds, individual goals, and life experiences to share. This variety makes the club a melting pot of sorts as we all have something new to learn from each other while improving our own ability to communicate in an inviting and supportive atmosphere.

One of our newest members, Tyretta Stores from Cleveland Heights has the goal of improving her speaking skills so she can proudly represent our club in the Toastmasters International Speech Contest next year all the while keeping her eye on her goal of being a motivational speaker. Health and life coach Natalie Jo Flynn of Euclid (also a regular Observer contributor) has the goal of improving her speaking skills to be able to confidently and persuasively inspire more people to take charge of their own health and wellness.

Guests are always welcome to attend a meeting to find more about our club and how they could benefit from becoming a Toastmaster.

We look forward to meeting you soon!

*Every few months we will have to meet off site due to room availability at the library. Please check our website for the most up to date meeting location www.3638.toastmastersclubs.org.
