There comes a time when we just get sick and tired of it. What is it? It could be the unmoved stack of clutter or unresolved “stuff” that we think about from time to time. Clutter usually accumulates because we just don’t know what to do with it or how to handle it in the moment. Circumstances can linger in our perception. Yet the good news is they don’t have to exist in our reality. It’s time to straighten up, clean up and clear out the clutter.

It takes courage to dig into an old plastic bag filled with mail or unanswered correspondence. Just like it’s a big deal to reach out to mend a broken friendship. Feelings may run deep and cause you some discomfort or uncertainty. Nonetheless, you must remember, you are worth the effort.  Whether you discover a lost treasure or find closure, your well-being is priceless.

Go ahead, empty-out overstuffed closets. Dig through stacked papers. Freshen up your living space – the basement, attic or garage. Don’t let shame or a sense of hopelessness keep you stuck in your past.  Face it and move on. Give yourself permission to enjoy your life today.
