The Fall Fun & Nature Festival

The City of Richmond Hts. and Friends of Euclid Creek have teamed up to present a fun-filled day on September 8, 2018, at Greenwood Farm, 264 Richmond Rd., Richmond Hts., Ohio. Activities include music by The Benjamiz and Root Therapy, Kiwanis Kid Zone play area, Baba the balloon twister, hayrides, food vendors, and more.

Friends of Euclid Creek is dedicated to the preservation of the Euclid Creek watershed and resident education on how they can help. Kids will love their bug, critter, and fish sampling activities and T-shirt painting. Presentations include how-to demonstrations for rain gardens, rain barrels, tree planting, and lawn care. Take home a tree sapling and enter a raffle for a free hand-painted rain barrel.

Greenwood Farm is an Ohio Historical site composed of 17 beautiful acres of trees, open grass, rain garden, barn, and three-story farm house built in 1917. Stairs lead down to Euclid Creek which runs through the property. The City of Richmond Heights owns the farm. The historical site marker presentation is at 2:00 p.m.
