Out With the Old, in With the New

The Euclid Recreation Department has been quite busy in making improvements throughout their facilities.

Over the summer new tennis courts have been built. Although there have been some bumps in the road during their construction, the City of Euclid and the Recreation Department will be proud to present the community with tennis and pickle ball courts that they can be proud of and enjoy for years to come. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony mid-September to officially open the courts.

Construction at Serra field was underway mid-July and is closed for the remaining season. With a new irrigation system installed, renovations to the infield and warning track are now under way! In addition, the fences will be painted and some minor improvements to the dugout areas as well.

C.E. Orr Arena has moved the blue lines to help gain more interest in the hockey community. The arena will also be installing a new gate to the visitor’s bench for the safety of its renters in case of an emergency. As well as new mats for the arena to replace the old ones.

We are thankful for your continued support and look forward to seeing you at the ice arena, ball diamonds and our various programs!
