Area Funeral Homes Offer Inspiration and Hope for Those Who Need it.
On Wednesday August 23rd, 2018 Steve Waite, Funeral Director at Jakubs and Son Funeral Home and Jakubs-Waite Funeral Home; teamed up with Euclid resident and area blogger (https://storiesfromasoulsister.wordpress.com) Emily Holody to offer free weekly Facebook posts about life, loss, and everything inbetween. These posts and a subsequent Facebook grief group (Fire and Rain Grief Group) are designed to assist people as they travel through the difficult stages of loss. Emily took up writing and sharing her story 18 months ago after her best friend Heidi died from Synovial Sarcoma. "Sharing my story, and listening to others share their stories about grief and loss, has given me great comfort over the last year. It is our hope that these Facebook posts can offer peace and insperation to those that need it. " said Holody.
