Construction Underway on O'Reilly Auto Parts Store

Backhoes and bulldozers signal the start of construction on a new O'Reilly Auto Parts store at the corner of East 200th Street and Lindbergh Avenue.

Scheduled to open in mid-September, the 7,611 square foot building is being constructed by the Northrup Corporation of Prior Lake, Minnesota.

O'Reilly Auto Parts purchased the four-parcel site last year from the estate of Frank Zigman.

Mr. Zigman passed away in 2014 at age 79.  For many years, he owned and operated Ludwig's Bar on the site.

While the original Ludwig's tavern is now gone, the spirit of the favorite local watering hole lives on just across the street.  Euclid resident Pat Delaney has reopened the long-time bar at 768 East 200th Street renaming it "Ludwig's".

The new Ludwig's has a fun and familiar vibe with a splash of local history.  Be sure to check it out.
